Common questions

Is my starter dead?

Probably not. Cold, sluggish starters bounce back with 2–3 days of twice-daily feedings at room temperature. If there's no mould (fuzzy pink, orange, or black), keep feeding. Autolyse's peak-prediction will help you see when it wakes up again.

Why does peak timing change day to day?

Temperature. Yeast activity roughly doubles for every 10°C rise. If you log ambient temperature when you feed, Autolyse's predictions adjust accordingly. Without temperature data, the app assumes a typical indoor 22°C.

How do I export my data?

Export is free for everyone. Settings → Export all feedings (CSV) or Export all bakes (CSV). Share it anywhere — Files, email, AirDrop. Your data, always.

Can I use Autolyse on multiple devices?

Yes. Sign in to iCloud on each device and Autolyse syncs your starters, feedings, and bakes across them automatically. No account, no login — just Apple's built-in iCloud. Free for everyone, Pro or not.

What's in Autolyse Pro?

Pro is a one-time $6.99 unlock (no subscriptions, ever) that adds:

Is there an Android version?

Not yet. Autolyse is iOS-only for now. If demand is there, Android may follow — but the priority is making the iOS version great first.

Refunds

In-app purchases are handled by Apple. If you'd like a refund, request one via reportaproblem.apple.com. I don't have the ability to issue refunds directly — only Apple does.
